Julie Dalmaso

At age 8, Julie started “helping” her dad on constructions sites.

At age 14, she started selecting tiles, paint colours, joinery, flooring, window treatments. lighting etc for apartments and houses her dad was building. Back then, she knew she had a sharp eye for colour and interior design.

After leaving school and studying for 4 x years at TAFE, Julie qualified as an Interior Designer. Julie also worked in supply outlets in ACT in NSW including in Dulux paint, tile and curtain retail stores. This experience honed her already sharp eye for colours, textures, surfaces, light etc.

Fast forward to 2001 and Julie founded JMD Design. Julie has worked hard to build JMD Design as a superior quality brand.

Equally at home consulting on a construction site or in a luxurious penthouse, Julie disarms clients with her down to earth and honest style and approach.

With a long love of interiors and design, Julie strives to design beautiful solutions that are contemporary and remain timeless. With her extensive and considerable experience, Julie’s innate ambition is to provide her clients with the space of their dreams - whether that space is for work, rest or play.
